  • Acupuncture is generally not painful. The needles are very thin and cause minimal discomfort—often just a brief tingling or dull sensation. Most patients find it relaxing and even fall asleep during treatment.

  • Most appointments last about an hour. Acupuncture treatments range from 45–90 minutes, depending on additional therapies. Herbal consults take around 30 minutes, and clinical pharmacy services vary based on need.

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Eat a light meal beforehand, and avoid coming in on an empty stomach or intoxicated. Gowns and drapes are provided for comfort and privacy.
